I"ve just realised, when harry"s kids go to hogwarts james sirius gets in gryffindor, James and Sirius were both gryffindor, Lily Luna gets in Ravenclaw, luna, who she was named after was in ravenclaw and albus severus was in slytherin, severus snape who he was named after was a slytherin. It"s like whatever their middle name, they ear in the same house as they were named after. Same with Harry, his middle name was James and he was a gryffindor.

Imagine, they had no idea how this movie will change their lives. To go into Ollivanders in Harry Potter land and see this kind of performance is amazing. Its obvious this scene influenced a lot of fans, including those who would go on to work at Universal. Ok I won"t pretend to be a great movie critic, cause lets face it is there one? But I will say this, Hollywood hasn"t really impressed me much these past few years. I have been to the movies a total of 4 times in the past 4 years. Thats it. Its because nothing has seemed all that interesting, until Harry Potter came out. Now I have read all the books a few times, and thought the movie was just awsome. I went with a friend who had never read the books and she loved it too. Yes it left parts out, but this is the first book to cinema movie that I can say wasn"t a letdown. I am anxiously awaiting the 5th book and second movie releases.

That moment when your expecting a Hogwarts Letter but then you realize that your 13 and live in America. I really like the more subtle wand designs in the earlier movies.

This first film in the Harry Potter series spends a lot of time setting up the story for the later instalments while still managing to be entertaining in its own right. The three leads all look very meek, mild and very young but still give good performances alongside their established nearly all British elders. The seamus scene was the best. it"s a pity that it is only in the extened version.
